EDUCATION, page 184, paragraph 1 and 2

It is these great truths that old and young need to learn. We need to study the working out of God’s purpose in the history of nations and in the revelation of things to come, that we may estimate at their true value things seen and things unseen; that we may learn what is the true aim of life; that, viewing the things of time in the light of eternity, we may put them to their truest and noblest use. Thus, learning here the principles of His kingdom and becoming its subjects and citizens, we may be prepared at His coming to enter with Him into its possession.  The day is at hand. For the lessons to be learned, the work to be done, the transformation of character to be effected, the time remaining is but too brief a span.

At this time, before the great final crisis, as before the world’s first destruction, men are absorbed in the pleasures and the pursuits of sense. Engrossed with the seen and transitory, they have lost sight of the unseen and eternal. For the things that perish with the using, they are sacrificing imperishable riches. Their minds need to be uplifted, their views of life to be broadened. They need to be aroused from the lethargy of worldly dreaming. From the rise and fall of nations as made plain in the pages of Holy Writ, they need to learn how worthless is mere outward and worldly glory. Babylon, with all its power and its magnificence, the like of which our world has never since beheld,—power and magnificence which to the people of that day seemed so stable and enduring, —how completely has it passed away! As “the flower of the grass” it has perished. So perishes all that has not God for its foundation. Only that which is bound up with His purpose and expresses His character can endure. His principles are the only steadfast things our world knows.

The history which the great I AM has marked out in His word, uniting link after link in the prophetic chain, from eternity in the past to eternity in the future, tells us where we are today in the procession of the ages, and what may be expected in the time to come. All that prophecy has foretold as coming to pass, until the present time, has been traced on the pages of history, and we may be assured that all which is yet to come will be fulfilled in its order.

God has revealed in His law the principles that underlie all true prosperity both of nations and of individuals. “This is your wisdom and your understanding,” Moses declared to the Israelites of the law of God. “It is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life.” Deuteronomy 4:6; 32:47. The blessings thus assured to Israel are, on the same conditions and in the same degree, assured to every nation and every individual under the broad heavens.

In the creation it was His purpose that the earth be inhabited by beings whose existence should be a blessing to themselves and to one another, and an honor to their Creator. All who will may identify themselves with this purpose. Of them it is spoken, “This people have I formed for Myself; they shall show forth My praise.” Isaiah 43:21.

The Bible is the most ancient and the most comprehensive history that men possess. It came fresh from the fountain of eternal truth, and throughout the ages a divine hand has preserved its purity. It lights up the far-distant past, where human research in vain seeks to penetrate. In God’s word only do we behold the power that laid the foundations of the earth and that stretched out the heavens. Here only do we find an authentic account of the origin of nations. Here only is given a history of our race unsullied by human pride or prejudice.

God intends that to the earnest seeker the truths of His word shall be ever unfolding. While “the secret things belong unto the Lord our God,” “those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children.” Deuteronomy 29:29. The idea that certain portions of the Bible cannot be understood has led to neglect of some of its most important truths. The fact needs to be emphasized, and often repeated, that the mysteries of the Bible are not such because God has sought to conceal truth, but because our own weakness or ignorance makes us incapable of comprehending or appropriating truth. The limitation is not in His purpose, but in our capacity. Of those very portions of Scripture often passed by as impossible to be understood, God desires us to understand as much as our minds are capable of receiving. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God,” that we may be “throughly furnished unto all good works,” 2 Timothy 3:16, 17.

A knowledge of this mystery furnishes a key to every other. It opens to the soul the treasures of the universe, the possibilities of infinite development.

And this development is gained through the constant unfolding to us of the character of God—the glory and the mystery of the written word. If it were possible for us to attain to a full understanding of God and His word, there would be for us no further discovery of truth, no greater knowledge, no further development. God would cease to be supreme, and man would cease to advance. Thank God, it is not so. Since God is infinite, and in Him are all the treasures of wisdom, we may to all eternity be ever searching, ever learning, yet never exhaust the riches of His wisdom, His goodness, or His power.

Education, page 171, par. 1

It is impossible for any human mind to exhaust even one truth or promise of the Bible. One catches the glory from one point of view, another from another point; yet we can discern only gleamings. The full radiance is beyond our vision.

As we contemplate the great things of God’s word, we look into a fountain that broadens and deepens beneath our gaze. Its breadth and depth pass our knowledge. As we gaze, the vision widens; stretched out before us we behold a boundless, shoreless sea.

A Message to all smokers

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
3 John 1:2 (King James Version)

Some people’s health is degraded because of the wrong and unbiblical habit of our fellow brothers and sisters who’re blinded by the truth so vividly expressed in the bible. They must be exposed to the doctrines which God promotes to improve their spiritual life. They must cease such an act that is contrary to God’s principle.

What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
1 Corinthians 6:19 (King James Version)
And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30 (King James Version)

Until when would your mind be clouded by the smoke that you’re puffin’? Until when would you disobey God?

Show that you’re educated enough to ponder the simple truth presented here.
Show that your acts are heavenly and not earthly.
Show that you deserve for that Kingdom made of Sapphire above.
Show that you’re a sheep, not a goat. <Refer to: Matthew 25:32-33 (King James Version)>
Show that you’ve conscience.
Be open-minded! Be guided!

Satan is still using the same deceiving words to you, “you shall not surely die”. But, what did happen to eve? The same would be the outcome of your fate, by neglecting God’s counsels then you’re neglecting your better future. You’re making your own paths which is totally unparallel to God’s. Oh! My brothers and sisters, how useful and productive could the reduced years of your life be. If you’re maximizing your time by sharing God’s message. Rather than slowly poisoning your own selves and acting as a catalyst in the ruin of many innocent people.

Remember: Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12 (King James Version). This is the battle cry of the Christians before Christ’s second coming.

This note sounds offensive, but if you’ll accept it, then the words placed here will transform from condemning to uplifting.

There is still but a little time for us to change. All we have to do is total commitment. We must die to self and let God live in our hearts.

I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.
1 Corinthians 15:31

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:11 (King James Version)

Wake up!
God loves you.

EDUCATION, page 75

As they ceased to recognize the Divine, they ceased to regard the human. Truth, honor, integrity, confidence, compassion, were departing from the earth. Relentless greed and absorbing ambition gave birth to universal distrust. The idea of duty, of the obligation of strength to weakness, of human dignity and human rights, was cast aside as a dream or a fable. The common people were regarded as beasts of burden or as the tools and the steppingstones for ambition. Wealth and power, ease and self-indulgence, were sought as the highest good. Physical degeneracy, mental stupor, spiritual death, characterized the age.

Are You Nationalistic?

If we’re trying to be nationalistic,we must first find out where our citizenship belongs:“For our conversation is in heaven…”-Philippians3:20(KJV), the word CONVERSATION here is translated as CITIZENSHIP (refer to New King James Version). Therefore, what do we do to be nationalistic? To obey,to love our country, to serve our leader, and to do good deeds in the development of the country, as well as deeds that will make our leader happy.Right, isn’t it?

Think of the Philippines as Heaven, think of the Law in our Country as the TEN COMMANDMENTS(Exodus 20:3-17),think of your love to the Philippines as your love to Heaven, think of our President as God, think of the good deeds as the fruit of the holy spirit(Galatians5:22-23). If we’ll just OBEY everything God will say, then we’ll be sure to be part of the few chosen people who’ll find the narrow way (Matthew 7:14) and be able to step in the New Jerusalem (Revelation 3:12) of the world hereafter. Just like our forefathers who followed Rizal’s advice, they’ve prospered, right?Their principles were considered as the pioneering quotes of our success. Thus, if we’ll just be obedient to God, then we’ll obtain liberty, true happiness and total fulfillment. Freedom from the Spaniards is freedom from sin. To stay illiterate is to remain Carnal, but to be educated is to transform into Spiritual.

EDUCATION, page 13

Our ideas of education take too narrow and too low a range. There is need of a broader scope, a higher aim. True education means more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It means more than a preparation for the life that now is. It has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. It prepares the student for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
